Subject: Changed my Life
This was such an amazing show for me, changed my life. My favorite part of the day, after seeing Bobby do a TWO HOUR opening set (also on the archive), was during the break I kept telling my friends how much I wanted to hear Alligator. A friend of mine kept reassuring me, "they're gonna do it, they're gonna do it." Sho nuff, second set opens with Alligator... The Playing segment with Bobby is great also, with everybody contributing their own statements throughout with wonderful interplay. I am glad that Warren started singing Midnight Train, cause this one is a little rough, but still very nice. The Doin that Rag>Midnite Train segment just goes and goes, including what I feel is a little FOTD tease. The Viola Lee jam was excellent also, including a short The Eleven jam in the first part, then going into a nice spaceout via Strawberry Fields, and finally coming so unexpectedly for the 4th time out of Lovelight to close the show. Pure joy. Get this one. Not sure which source is better though. Who says St Louis never gets any good shows? Not me!

Subject: Awesome show
this is probably my favority Phil & Friends show. The jam>alligator is amazing. Nothing like some viola lee sandwhiches, and trust me, the second set has them. Great donor speech also.
